Cancellations

Deposits and Cancellations: We require a 25% deposit upon booking, with 7 days notice required before the check-in date to enable the booking to be cancelled at no charge and a refund issued.  If cancelled or modified within 7 days of arrival or in case of a no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged, and if the booking is within a public holiday, long weekend, special event or any weekend from November to April, 100% of the second night will also be charged.  Cancellation after check-in will forfeit the entire amount of the booking.

Whole House bookings: Whole House bookings of more than 2 nights require a 25% non-refundable deposit.

We strongly recommend that guests take out comprehensive travel insurance.

Terms and Conditions

Loss and Damage: The establishment shall not be liable to any guest or invitee of a guest for any loss damage or destruction to any personal property brought onto these premises. Personal property shall include any personal effects and motor vehicles parked on the premises.

Guests agree to pay all changes incurred during your stay at The Racecourse Inn.  

The person booking the room or the cardholder is deemed to be responsible for their actions and those of any of their party.  We regret having to inform guests that as of June 2018 all damages will be charged in full, including labour and all other charges necessary to restore the room to the pre occupied condition. A further charge will be made to cover loss of earning until the room is restored and available for further letting to guests.

Maxiumum Occupancy: Under our insurance and fire regulations we are unable to exceed the maximum occupancy. We reserve the right to refuse admission if the customer exceeds the maximum occupancy of the room booked.

Lost Property: Lost property is held for a period of 1 month. It is the responsibility of the guest to contact The Racecourse Inn’s management to claim lost property. We endeavour to return all lost property to guests.  On request, lost property will be returned via a pre-paid and addressed Australia Post envelope or courier at cost.
